Aberystwyth University’s Department of Theatre, Film and Television Studies is delighted to be hosting the annual TaPRA conference 2018.
The Theatre & Performance Research Association (TaPRA) exists in order to facilitate research through and into theatre and performance. It is based on collegiality with a formal structure that intends to advance informal, productive and dynamic research networks.

You are warmly invited to join us by the sea for the 2018 TaPRA conference at Aberystwyth University. The Department of Theatre, Film and Television Studies is delighted to be hosting this conference which will be held from the 5th to the 7th of September 2018.
We are pleased to announce that this years’ keynote speakers will be Kully Thiarai – the Director of National Theatre Wales and Professor Jim Davis the David Bradby Prize winner.
There will be a Twmpath (Welsh Ceilidh) for you after the conference meal which we’re hoping will be on the Pier overlooking Cardigan bay – a true (wild) west Wales experience……watch this space.
