This prize recognises outstanding achievement in scholarly research in the form of a published monograph for researchers at any stage of their career.

Invitation to present keynote lecture at the TaPRA conference following the award and costs associated with attendance covered up to £200.
Membership of TaPRA for a year, normally the year following the award.
Nomination
Only current TaPRA members can submit nominations for this prize. TaPRA members may self-nominate. Nominations must be seconded by a current TaPRA member, who is from a different institution than the nominator. Nominators who are not the nominee must be from a different institution than the nominee. You may not nominate or second more than one person for this prize in any given year. The nominee does not need to be a member of TaPRA or be working in the UK.

The book must be published within 12 months leading up to nomination deadline.
