This prize recognises outstanding achievement in scholarly research in the form of a published monograph for researchers at any stage of their career.

Criteria
Submission
Two copies of the book as published (you can upload a pdf on the nomination form. We can also accept e-books and pre-publication proofs. We are unable to accept hardcopies at this time).
Prize
Invitation to present keynote lecture at the TaPRA conference following the award and costs associated with attendance covered.
Membership of TaPRA for a year, normally the year following the award.
Nomination
Only current TaPRA members can submit nominations for this prize. TaPRA members may self-nominate. Nominations must be seconded by a current TaPRA member, who is from a different institution than the Nominator. Nominators who are not the nominee must be from a different institution than the nominee. You may not nominate or second more than one person for this prize in any given year. The nominee does not need to be a member of TaPRA or be working in the UK.
Regulations
The book must be published within 12 months leading up to nomination deadline (NB for 2021 prizes, the book must have been published within 24 months leading up to the nomination deadline of 1st Feb 2021).
For 2021 you may not nominate books that were nominated to TaPRA for the 2019 David Bradby and Early Career Researcher awards.
