What were the main points that emerged from your interim event this year?
“Serious Entertainment”: Audience Enjoyment, Politics and the Intellectual.
This was a one-day symposium exploring issues to do with entertainment. Participants were invited to attend a performance of Lola Arias’ play Minefield at HOME theatre in Manchester on the night of the 12th; part of the symposium involved actors from this show being interviewed by Clare Finburgh .

We were grateful for the support of the TaPRA executive committee, particularly Trish Reid who attended the event and helped us to ensure that everything ran smoothly. We felt that the interim event helped us to develop the rationales of this working group, and as such this was an invaluable experience.
