What were the main points that emerged from your interim event this year?
Discussions at the interim event centred around scenography and exhibitions. Short talks were presented by academics and practitioners, discussing scenography as an interdisciplinary practice that can extend beyond its performance context to the design of exhibition spaces. The challenges in archiving and exhibiting scenography as an emphemeral art form were also touched upon during the discussions. The event showed that there are already a number of practitioners working in this context of scenography, yet very little academic research devoted to it.
