TaPRA Awards 2018: Nominations
TaPRA is delighted to announce that nominations for our research awards, which aim to recognise and celebrate the rich diversity and excellence of research in the field of theatre and performance, are now open.
Nomination form: http://tapra.org/nomination-open/
Deadline for nominations is midnight, 12 February 2018
Please note that while it may still be possible to complete a nomination form after that date, your nomination will not be counted.
Each year TaPRA sponsors as three awards: the Research in International Performance award named in honour of Professor David Bradby; the Early Career Researcher’s Prize, and the TaPRA Research Prize for Editing. TaPRA members nominate scholars for a body or individual piece of work and the work is then read and judged by a panel of experts including the TaPRA Chair, previous winners and international scholars. Recent winners include Jim Davis, Kirsty Sedgman, Maria Delgado & Joanne Tompkins, Sally Mackey, Matt Hargrave, Duška Radosavljevic, Adrian Curtin, as well as Kate Dorney & Frances Gray.
Each nomination needs to be supported by two TaPRA members. Please note that while the person nominated does not need to be a TaPRA member, the people who nominate do. Nominations proposed or supported by non-members will not be eligible for consideration in the judging process.
Work that has already been long listed for consideration in previous years cannot be nominated again.
